Why Refer Out?

Every referral is a patient — and a practice — you may not see again.

When a case needs surgical Periodontics or Implant placement, the reflex is to refer out. But every referral is a moment of risk: a patient introduced to another practice, a case you lose visibility into, and revenue that leaves your building for good.

Prism Periodontics was built to remove that trade-off. We travel to you, with the surgical training, instrumentation, and protocols of a dedicated specialty practice — so the complex procedures your patients need can be treated in the practice they already trust, by the team that already knows them.

A Note From Dr. Lemoine

Specialist Training

What makes a periodontist the right choice for surgical Implant care?

Periodontists are dental specialists trained in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of the gums and bone that support teeth and Implants. That focused training makes them uniquely skilled in the surgical placement of dental Implants — from planning through the biology of how an Implant fuses with bone.

Beyond surgical skill, periodontists bring a deep understanding of the oral microbiome and how it affects Implant success, allowing cases to be planned and executed in a way that minimizes complications and protects long-term outcomes — for your patient, and for your practice's reputation.
